This year National Payroll Week is highlighting the important role that payroll professionals have played during the Coronavirus crisis.
Held annually by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP), the awareness week, which runs from 7-11 September is intended to highlight and celebrate the positive impact that the payroll industry has in the UK.
This year more than ever, payroll professionals have been tested by the ever-changing nature of the Government’s Coronavirus support packages and have been identified as essential workers within the financial services industry.
Not only have they dealt with the normal payroll cycle and the associated requests and questions but they have also ensured that all the changes connected to the furlough scheme have been correctly applied.
National Payroll Week is a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the hard work of local payroll professionals during the last 12 months.
Our team have worked exceptionally well throughout the pandemic to make sure clients have the support and advice they need. Our core team of payroll professionals led by Charlene as manager and Jaspreet supervising work, remained seamlessly productive throughout lockdown thanks to our adoption of cutting edge cloud technology.
To cope with increased demand they were supported by other team members from the organisation, a testament to the resourcefulness and flexibility of Davis Grant.
The past few months have been a really challenging period for businesses and their employees and many of our clients have reported that having payroll experts they can rely on has been essential.
Having the support of our expert team as you move forward will make sure that whatever the challenges you face and hard decisions you have to make, you will have expert help and advice.
