Ben Chernoff, a recently appointed Director of Davis Grant, has become a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having demonstrated his expertise and experience within the profession.
Ben was only made a Director at the East London-based firm at the start of this year, having started at Davis Grant as a trainee back in 2011. This firm with a history dating back as far as 1949 is recognised by the ACCA as an Approved Employer with Gold status for Trainee Development and has a very active trainee program.
Ben joins Steven Sandford on the board who also graduated from the firm’s trainee program and celebrated his 20 year work anniversary earlier this month. Together they prove there really is no limit to how high applicants can rise at Davis Grant.
He continues to work immensely hard for his clients and has been supporting many businesses with difficulties related to this challenging pandemic period.
Ben specialises in assisting SME businesses, particularly those within the property and recruitment sectors, which have been particularly adversely affected by the Coronavirus crisis. He supports local business and entrepreneurship as the Accountant and Treasurer for BNI Turbo Chigwell.
His promotion to a Fellow of the ACCA, which is indicated by the FCCA abbreviation, is seen as a significant milestone within an accountant’s career.
It demonstrates that an individual has extensive experience and has made a long-term commitment to professionalism and ethics.
Speaking about his achievement, Ben said:
It is a real honour to be recognised as a Fellow of such a prestigious and well-regarded professional organisation. It highlights our firm’s focus on ensuring that all of our team remain highly qualified and able to assist our wide range of clients with effective, proactive advice.
